Thank you Councilor Crossley, for you outstanding presentation and statements of support in favor of the library and Brown Middle School Solar Proposals during the city council meeting last night. Clearly, your thoughtful and adept leadership helped to ensure the overwhelming approval of these two excellent solar projects.

Citizen supporters, especially the students holding signs and many who could not be there, also feel most grateful to Councilors Albright, Auchincloss, Danberg, Brousal-Glaser, Downs, Kallis, Kelley, Lappin, Leary, Norton and Schwartz for each of their persuasive and eloquent statements that preceded the vote to overwhelmingly approve the two solar sites. This is the kind of wise leadership that our community must rely upon to help move as quickly as we can to reduce our carbon footprint.
